About our School Counselor
![]() Kendall Cunningham, K-5 School Counselor I come to school counseling by way of teaching in public schools. Being a school counselor allows me to be in the lively school environment and build relationships with students while supporting their personal/social/emotional needs. I am a parent to two PPS students and especially enjoy working with families and kids as they progress through school. When not at Maplewood, I love gardening, jogging, music, and spending time with family and friends. kcunninghamparm@pps.net (503) 916-6308 Monday to Friday 7:45-3:30 Have a request? About our School Social Worker
![]()
Jeremy Schlott, School Social Worker So you may be asking yourself, what is a School Social Worker? Well, a famous group of four musicians once sang, “I’ll get by with a little help from my friends.” Making our way through the challenges of life can be difficult, and it is the role of the school social worker to help children and families get by. As someone who has worked with children, youth, and families in the Portland area for over 20 years, I am driven to see people succeed in offering any help I can. I am here to advocate, promote change, listen, and work diligently for our community. Even if you are unsure if a social worker can assist you or your family, I encourage you to reach out as I would love to hear your story. When I am not enjoying time with our staff and students, I am usually spending time with my family, fly fishing, rafting, watching the Blazers, or napping. jschlott@pps.net Maplewood every Friday and Monday, every other Tuesday Have a request?
